Call to Action: Please Support Healthy Food Access for Low Income Families!

As many of you know, Valley Flora offers a SNAP CSA option that allows low-income families to sign up for our CSA with SNAP and leverage Double Up Food Bucks to cover half the cost of their share. It’s an amazing program that makes VF produce more accessible to everyone in our community, no matter what their financial circumstances are. This program is made possible through our partnership with the Pacific Northwest CSA Coalition (PNWCSA), which processes SNAP payments and secures Double Up Food Bucks for our members.

Unfortunately, PNWCSA funding for 2026 is in jeopardy. In the past, they’ve mainly been funded by USDA grants, but as you can imagine, those have all evaporated. They are currently running a fundraising campaign through the end of the year: Nourish families. Support farmers. Strengthen communities.

Please consider making a donation to help this incredible non-profit continue their critical work throughout the state by visiting our PNWCSA fundraising page here.

Without PNWCSA, the SNAP CSA program wouldn’t exist in our remote corner of the state and dozens of low-income families wouldn’t have access to farm-fresh produce. PNWCSA makes our food system on the Southcoast more equitable, more accessible and more awesome! Please support them during this time of need so we can keep our entire community well-fed.

Thank you, and we hope you're enjoying those 10 pound cabbages this week!
